Ammonia/HVAC Technician

Will test and maintain cooling tower water chemistry. Respirator trained. Emergency Response to Technician level. Performs system start-ups and operational checkouts on equipment including operational & performance qualifications and normal startups after PME’s. Restore equipment to operational status after power outages. Defines routine maintenance inspections and planned overhauls for equipment based on frequencies or run hours to attain world class performance. Performs preventive, predictive and pre-emptive maintenance and routine inspections. Provides operational support assistance to engineers and operations. Specifies, organizes and maintains adequate spare parts to support the asset base. Participate in the development of project scopes, design of systems, and functional specifications. Utilizes technical materials such as equipment manuals, MSDS, safety materials, system and equipment drawings, Process and Instrument Diagrams (PID's), schematics, and blue prints to troubleshoot and maintain systems.
