Job Description

We are currently seeking a part-time Support Associate to join our dedicated team and assist with the day-to-day operations of our store. As a Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store runs smoothly and our customers receive exceptional service.   1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  2. Assist customers with finding products and provide information about current promotions and sales.
  3. Aid in maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the store by restocking and tidying up merchandise and displays.
  4. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and gift card transactions.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure all customer needs are met and provide exceptional service.
  6. Communicate any customer concerns or issues to management in a timely manner.
  7. Continuously monitor and replenish inventory levels to ensure products are always available for customers.
  8. Assist in receiving and processing new merchandise shipments.
  9. Maintain knowledge of all store policies, procedures, and products to effectively assist customers and answer questions.
  10. Act as a brand ambassador by embodying the Neiman Marcus Group values and promoting a positive image of the company.
  11. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store security.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and ensure a smooth operation of the store.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold the Neiman Marcus Group brand standards.
  14. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.
  15. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of customers and employees.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the store.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: A Support Associate Should Have Prior Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Hospitality Setting. This Would Demonstrate Their Ability To Handle Customer Inquiries And Complaints Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For A Support Associate To Effectively Communicate With Customers, As Well As Other Team Members And Management.

  • Knowledge Of Luxury Brands And Products: As A Part Of A High-End Retail Store Like Neiman Marcus Group, A Support Associate Should Have Knowledge Of Luxury Brands And Products. This Would Help Them Assist Customers In Finding The Right Products And Answer Any Questions They May Have About The Merchandise.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: Support Associates Often Have To Handle Complex Customer Inquiries Or Complaints. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Address Any Issues That May Arise And Find Solutions That Satisfy The Customer.

  • Flexibility And Availability: As A Part-Time Position, Support Associates May Be Required To Work Varying Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays. Therefore, Candidates Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work During Peak Business Hours.
