  4. Maintain a thorough knowledge of our luxury sportswear brands, including their features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  5. Proactively engage with customers to promote and upsell our exclusive sportswear products.
  6. Utilize strong sales techniques to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive and personalized shopping experience.
  8. Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining the overall appearance and presentation of the sportswear department.
  9. Collaborate with team members and managers to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
  10. Stay updated on current fashion trends and industry developments to provide fashion-forward product knowledge and style advice to customers.
  11. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  12. Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory management, loss prevention, and customer service.
  13. Continuously strive to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction by participating in training and development opportunities.
  14. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, representing the Neiman Marcus brand with pride and enthusiasm.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Designer Sportswear Brands: The Selling Assistant Must Have A Strong Understanding Of High-End Designer Sportswear Brands And Their Target Demographics. This Includes Knowledge Of Current Trends, Styles, And Pricing.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Selling Assistant, One Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Crucial In Order To Provide A Positive Shopping Experience And Build Strong Relationships With Clients.

  • Sales Experience: Previous Sales Experience, Preferably In The Luxury Fashion Industry, Is Highly Desired For This Position. The Selling Assistant Must Be Able To Meet And Exceed Sales Goals, As Well As Possess Strong Negotiation And Upselling Skills.

  • Organization And Attention To Detail: In Order To Maintain A Visually Appealing And Organized Sales Floor, The Selling Assistant Must Have Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail. This Includes Maintaining Proper Merchandise Displays, Inventory Management, And Keeping The Sales Floor Clean And Organized.

  • Team Player: The Selling Assistant Will Work Closely With The Sales Team, Buyers, And Merchandisers, Therefore, Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills Are Essential. The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Others In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment Is A Key Qualification For This Role.
