Job Description

Attention all fashion-forward and customer-focused individuals! We are seeking a dynamic Sales Lead for our Ladies Shoes department at Neiman Marcus Group. Our Sales Lead will play a crucial role in leading our team of sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.   1. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve and exceed sales goals for the Ladies Shoes department.
  2. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among team members.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their shopping needs, resolving any issues or concerns, and creating a personalized shopping experience.
  4. Develop and maintain strong product knowledge in order to effectively train and coach sales associates on product features and benefits.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in sales performance.
  6. Create and execute strategies to drive sales and increase customer retention.
  7. Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for sales associates.
  8. Set and enforce high standards for customer service, product presentation, and overall store appearance.
  9. Communicate effectively with other department leads and store management to ensure a cohesive and successful operation.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and product knowledge in order to provide customers with the most relevant and stylish options.
  11. Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Assist with inventory management and ensure stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
  13. Collaborate with visual merchandising team to create visually appealing displays and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to sales, customer service, and employee conduct.
  15. Lead by example and serve as a role model for sales associates by embodying the company's values and providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Sales Experience: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Luxury Retail Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets, As Well As Excellent Customer Service Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Ladies Shoes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding And Passion For Ladies Shoes, Including Knowledge Of Different Brands, Styles, And Trends. This Will Allow Them To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Provide Personalized Recommendations.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Sales Lead, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing And Motivating A Team Of Sales Associates. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Customers, As Well As Internal Teams And Management. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Information And Build Relationships.
