  1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the restaurant kitchen, including food preparation, menu planning, and inventory management.
  2. Create and develop new and innovative dishes, taking into account current food trends and customer preferences.
  3. Ensure the highest level of food quality and presentation, maintaining the Neiman Marcus standard of excellence.
  4. Lead and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
  5. Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and profitability.
  6. Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that all menu items are cost-effective while maintaining quality.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors and suppliers to ensure the freshest and highest quality ingredients are used.
  9. Continuously strive to improve and elevate the dining experience for customers, incorporating feedback and suggestions.
  10. Keep up to date with industry trends and innovations, incorporating them into the menu and restaurant offerings.
  11. Represent the Neiman Marcus brand with professionalism and pride, both within the company and in the larger culinary community.
  12. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to contribute to the success of the restaurant and company as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • Culinary Degree Or Equivalent Experience: The Ideal Candidate For The Restaurant Chef Position At Neiman Marcus Cafe Should Possess A Formal Culinary Education Or Have Equivalent Experience In A High-End Restaurant Or Hotel Environment.
