1. Conduct thorough investigations into potential theft, fraud, and other security incidents within the Neiman Marcus Group.
2. Utilize surveillance equipment and techniques to monitor store activity and identify any suspicious behavior.
3. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement proactive loss prevention strategies.
4. Regularly monitor and review inventory and sales data to identify potential areas of risk and make recommendations for improvement.
5. Collect and analyze evidence, including video footage, witness statements, and other documentation, to build strong cases against individuals engaging in illegal or unethical behavior.
6. Keep detailed and accurate records of all investigations and incidents, including creating reports and documentation for management and legal purposes.
7. Act as a liaison with law enforcement, providing them with necessary information and evidence to aid in criminal investigations.
8. Train and educate store employees on loss prevention protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of awareness and security.
9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and security, and make recommendations for improvements to current processes.
10. Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all investigations and information obtained during the course of the job.
