As a member of our Loss Prevention team, you will play a vital role in protecting our merchandise, assets, and customers.   1. Conduct thorough investigations into potential theft, fraud, and other suspicious activities within the store, utilizing various surveillance techniques and tools.
  2. Monitor and analyze store activity through CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other loss prevention technology to identify and prevent potential risks.
  3. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies and protocols.
  4. Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, colleagues, and law enforcement personnel to resolve issues and share important information.
  5. Conduct audits and inventory checks to ensure merchandise is accounted for and properly secured.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed reports of all investigations and incidents, including evidence collection and documentation.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and techniques in loss prevention to continuously improve the effectiveness of our security measures.
  8. Act as a role model for the company's core values and actively promote a safe and secure work environment for all employees and customers.
  9. Assist in training and coaching store associates on loss prevention policies, procedures, and best practices.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to loss prevention and security.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Loss Prevention Or Investigative Work: Candidates Must Have A Proven Track Record In Conducting Investigations Related To Theft, Fraud, Or Other Loss Prevention Issues.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Security And Loss Prevention Techniques: This Includes Understanding Of Cctv Systems, Electronic Article Surveillance, And Other Security Measures Used In A Retail Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Loss Prevention Investigator, The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Both Internal And External Stakeholders Is Crucial, As Well As The Ability To Build Relationships And Work Collaboratively With Team Members.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Analyze Data: Investigators Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Analyze Data To Identify Trends And Patterns That May Indicate Potential Fraudulent Activity.

  • Familiarity With Local And State Laws Related To Theft And Fraud: Knowledge Of Laws And Regulations Related To Theft, Fraud, And Employee Dishonesty Is Essential For Conducting Thorough And Legal Investigations.
