Job Description

  1. Conduct thorough investigations of suspected thefts, fraud, and other security concerns within the store premises.
  2. Monitor store activity through CCTV footage and other surveillance methods to identify potential security risks.
  3. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement security procedures and protocols.
  4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify any vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Train and educate store employees on security awareness and best practices for preventing theft and fraud.
  6. Communicate effectively with law enforcement and other external partners to report and follow up on incidents.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents and investigations.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the effectiveness of security measures.
  9. Conduct background checks and screenings for potential employees to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  10. Respond quickly and appropriately to any security emergencies or incidents, taking necessary actions to mitigate risks.
  11. Collaborate with other loss prevention team members to share information and coordinate efforts to prevent and detect theft and fraud.
  12. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  13. Continuously evaluate and assess security procedures and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager or other members of the management team.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Loss Prevention Or Investigative Work, Preferably In A Retail Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management And Cash Handling Procedures.

  • Proficient In Conducting Investigations, Including Interviewing, Evidence Collection, And Report Writing.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws Related To Theft, Fraud, And Other Criminal Activities.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team And Interact With Customers And Law Enforcement.
