- Greet and welcome customers to the Fine Jewelry department with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist customers with their inquiries, provide product recommendations, and ensure a personalized shopping experience.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the products, including their features, materials, and pricing.
- Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and gift card transactions.
- Keep the department well-stocked and organized, ensuring that all products are properly displayed.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low stock or out-of-stock items to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with merchandising and restocking products as needed.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide support to the sales team by locating products, processing returns, and completing special orders.
- Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the department, including the jewelry cases and display areas.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Continuously strive to improve the customer experience and provide feedback to management on ways to enhance the department.
- Attend training sessions and product knowledge seminars to stay up-to-date on new products and industry trends.
- Work closely with the Fine Jewelry Manager and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the floor.
- Uphold the Neiman Marcus brand image by embodying luxury and elegance in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
Excellent Knowledge Of Fine Jewelry: A Floor Assistant At Neiman Marcus Group Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Types Of Fine Jewelry, Including Gemstones, Metals, And Design Techniques. This Knowledge Will Allow Them To Assist Customers In Making Informed Purchases And Provide Accurate Information About The Products.
Sales Experience: As A Floor Assistant, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Sales, Preferably In A Luxury Retail Environment. They Should Be Able To Identify And Anticipate Customer Needs And Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Drive Sales.
Attention To Detail: Fine Jewelry Requires Precision And Attention To Detail. The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure The Accuracy Of Product Information, Pricing, And Displays. They Should Also Be Able To Identify Any Flaws Or Imperfections In The Jewelry.
Strong Communication Skills: A Floor Assistant Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Interact With Customers, Colleagues, And Vendors Effectively. They Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Professionally, Both Verbally And In Writing.
