
Engineer, Tech Ops

- Ensure smooth operations of technology systems: The Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all technology systems used by Neiman Marcus Group, including but not limited to hardware, software, networks, and databases. They will troubleshoot any issues that arise and ensure that systems are functioning at optimal levels.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues: The Engineer will be expected to use their problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and finding solutions to problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Engineer will work closely with other teams within the organization, such as developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure that technology systems are meeting the needs of the business. They will collaborate on projects and provide technical expertise and support as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies: As technology is constantly evolving, the Engineer will be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in technology. They will use this knowledge to make recommendations for improvements and upgrades to current systems.
- Implement and maintain security protocols: The Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. - Create and maintain documentation: The Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures. This will ensure that all team members have access to the necessary information to effectively maintain and troubleshoot systems.
- Manage system updates and upgrades: The Engineer will be responsible for managing system updates and upgrades, including scheduling, testing, and implementation. They will also ensure that all systems are properly backed up and can be restored in the event of a system failure.
- Provide technical support: The Engineer will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Technical Operations Or Engineering Role
Strong Knowledge Of Computer Systems, Networks, And Software Applications
Proficient In Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Techniques
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, With Excellent Time Management And Organization Skills.
