  1. Oversee all aspects of the alterations department, including managing a team of alteration specialists and coordinating their schedules to ensure efficient and timely completion of alterations.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized alterations services.
  3. Train and mentor staff on latest alterations techniques and ensure consistency in quality work.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of altered garments and resolve any customer complaints or concerns.
  5. Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  6. Create and implement policies and procedures for the alterations department to ensure efficiency and consistency in service.
  7. Stay updated on current fashion trends and techniques related to alterations.
  8. Manage alteration budgets and expenses, including tracking and reporting.
  9. Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations related to alterations.
  10. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to encourage professional growth and development.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the alterations department.
