- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritizing and defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software products.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and trends.
- Act as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries and escalations.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and gather feedback for product improvements.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure effective and efficient product development.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to drive product improvements.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product management and Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning and messaging strategies.
- Ensure timely delivery of products according to set timelines and budget.
- Train and mentor junior product owners and team members.
- Act as a product evangelist by promoting the product internally and externally.
- Uphold NCR's values and promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Software Development Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Agile Methodologies And Should Be Familiar With Tools And Techniques For Software Development Such As Scrum, Kanban, And Lean.
Experience In Product Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In The Software Industry. This Experience Should Include Defining Product Vision, Creating Product Roadmaps, And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver Successful Products.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Product Owner, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating Product Vision, Priorities, And Requirements To The Development Team, Stakeholders, And Customers. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Business Acumen: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Business Processes And Be Able To Make Data-Driven Decisions To Achieve Business Objectives. They Should Also Have Experience In Market Analysis, Competitive Research, And Identifying Customer Needs.
