SVP, Infrastructure and Operations

NCR is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations to lead our Infrastructure and Operations team. This position will be responsible for the design, deployment, and operation of our IT infrastructure and ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of NCR's products and services.This is a strategic role that requires a combination of technical and business savvy, as well as strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate is a thought leader who is passionate about technology and able to bridge the gap between technical and business objectives.We are seeking a candidate who has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as 10+ years of experience in a similar role. In addition, the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cloud technologies and experience managing large-scale distributed systems. Advanced certifications in IT security, cloud, and networking are a plus.The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and collaboration skills and be capable of driving change and influencing decision-making across the organization. They must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, the SVP of Infrastructure and Operations must possess a strong sense of customer service and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Infrastructure and Operations team in the design, deployment, and operation of NCR's IT infrastructure.
2. Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of NCR's products and services.
3. Develop and maintain a strategic vision for the Infrastructure and Operations team.
4. Leverage cloud technologies to optimize system performance and scalability.
5. Manage large-scale distributed systems.
6. Ensure that IT security standards are met.
7. Maintain strong communication and collaboration skills and drive change and influence decision-making across the organization.
8. Organize, detail-orient, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
9. Provide excellent customer service and a passion for problem-solving.
