Job Description

As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our terminal driving and switching software products.   1. Provide technical support for NCR's terminal driving and switching software products.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to software functionality and performance.
  3. Proactively identify and address potential problems or challenges with the software.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer issues.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely and accurate resolutions.
  6. Educate customers on the features and functionality of the software to improve their experience.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve product knowledge.
  8. Document and track customer issues and resolutions in a timely manner.
  9. Provide regular updates and progress reports to management and other team members.
  10. Act as a customer advocate within the company, providing feedback and suggestions for product improvement and enhancement.
  11. Participate in product testing and provide feedback to the development team.
  12. Train and mentor new team members on product knowledge and customer support best practices.
  13. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and retention by providing exceptional support and service.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining customer confidentiality.
  15. Collaborate with other support engineers and teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Terminal Driving And Switching Systems: The Software Support Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding And Experience In Working With Terminal Driving And Switching Systems, Such As Ncr's Authentic And Aptronix.

  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Quickly Diagnose And Resolve Technical Issues Related To Terminal Driving And Switching Systems. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Troubleshooting Mindset And Be Able To Handle Complex Problems Efficiently.

  • Knowledge Of Programming Languages: A Software Support Engineer Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Programming Languages Such As Java, C++, And Sql. This Will Enable Them To Develop And Implement Solutions In The Terminal Driving/Switching Environment.

  • Customer Service And Communication Skills: As A Key Point Of Contact For Customers, The Software Support Engineer Should Possess Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills. This Includes The Ability To Explain Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Individuals And Provide Prompt And Effective Support.

  • Experience In Banking Or Financial Services Industry: Ncr's Terminal Driving/Switching Systems Are Primarily Used In The Banking And Financial Services Industry. Therefore, Experience In This Industry, Particularly In A Technical Support Role, Is Highly Desirable For This Position.
