1. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements by performing regular reviews and reconciliations.
2. Prepare and analyze financial data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or variances.
3. Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
4. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information for decision-making purposes.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
7. Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
8. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and processes to identify and recommend areas for improvement.
9. Provide support for external audits and assist with the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.
10. Mentor and train junior accounting team members on best practices and company policies.
11. Stay updated on industry and accounting trends and changes to ensure compliance and efficiency within the finance team.
12. Work closely with other departments to provide accurate and timely financial information for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
13. Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
