- Develop and implement a comprehensive commodity management strategy that aligns with NCR's overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Monitor commodity market trends and proactively identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, engineering, and operations, to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, continuously evaluating their performance and driving improvements through regular business reviews and performance metrics.
- Lead supplier selection and qualification processes, ensuring compliance with NCR's policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze commodity costs, market trends, and supplier performance to inform decision-making and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Act as a subject matter expert in commodity management, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the commodity management processes and procedures to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and mentor a team of commodity managers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure career growth and retention of top talent.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in commodity management and supply chain dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Commodity Management Or Strategic Sourcing, Preferably In A Technology Or Manufacturing Company.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Negotiating Contracts With Global Suppliers.
Strong Understanding Of Commodity Market Trends, Pricing Strategies, And Supply Chain Management Principles.
Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Executives.
