Job Description

At NCR, we are looking for an experienced Lead Quality Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality products and services. As a Lead Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the QA team, establishing quality standards, and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Engineering. Additionally, the successful candidate must be well-versed in a variety of quality management processes and techniques, and have a deep understanding of software development life cycles. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work in cross-functional teams, and experience with Agile/Scrum are also essential for this role. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor the QA team in developing and implementing quality assurance processes and standards.
  2. Design and execute tests to ensure that products and services meet internal and external requirements.
  3. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  4. Work closely with the software development team to ensure product quality and alignment with customer requirements.
  5. Develop and implement automation strategies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the QA process.
  6. Utilize Agile/Scrum methodology to ensure timely and accurate delivery of quality products.
  7. Evaluate and troubleshoot product issues and defects.
  8. Train and mentor new team members on quality assurance processes and techniques.
  9. Create and maintain detailed documentation for all quality assurance activities.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to reduce defects and improve product quality.
