  1. Manage and maintain NCR's certificate infrastructure to ensure the secure transmission of data and protect sensitive information.
  2. Implement and enforce information security policies and procedures to safeguard critical systems and assets.
  3. Continuously monitor and assess potential vulnerabilities within NCR's systems and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security gaps and implement solutions to address them.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest information security best practices and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation within NCR.
  6. Conduct security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on certificate management and information security, providing guidance and training to other team members.
  8. Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations to determine the root cause and implement remediation measures.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation related to information security processes and procedures.
  10. Communicate with clients and stakeholders on security-related matters and provide timely updates on security incidents and mitigating actions.
  11. Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  12. Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to ensure their compliance with NCR's security standards.
  13. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the information security function.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for NCR, promoting a culture of security awareness and responsibility among employees.
  15. Adhere to NCR's code of conduct and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Certificate Management Software: A Strong Understanding And Experience With Certificate Management Software Such As Keyfactor, Venafi, Or Entrust Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Manage And Maintain Digital Certificates, Including Issuance, Renewal, And Revocation.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Information Security: The Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Information Security Principles, Protocols, And Best Practices. They Should Have Experience With Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Management, And Incident Response.

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Technical Skills, Including Experience With Network Security, Encryption Technologies, And Web Application Security. They Should Also Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Such As Python Or Powershell.

  • Industry Certifications: A Relevant Industry Certification, Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Certified Information Security Manager (Cism), Is Highly Preferred. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Expertise And Commitment To The Field Of Information Security.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Member Of The Information Security Team, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Work Well In A Team Environment.
