Job Description

Hello there! We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Incident Manager to join our team at NCR. As an Incident Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems and services. You will be responsible for managing and resolving any incidents that may arise, while also implementing preventative measures to minimize future disruptions.   1. Manage and resolve all incidents reported by customers or identified through system monitoring.
  2. Develop and implement proactive measures to prevent future incidents and ensure system stability and reliability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, team members, and management, to provide timely updates on incident status and resolution.
  5. Conduct thorough root cause analysis for all incidents and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  6. Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they escalate into incidents.
  7. Create and maintain incident management procedures and documentation.
  8. Develop and maintain incident response plans for different types of incidents and ensure they are updated regularly.
  9. Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
  10. Identify recurring incidents and work with relevant teams to identify and implement permanent solutions.
  11. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other departments as needed.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in incident management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  13. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to incident management.
  14. Participate in on-call rotation and be available for emergency response as needed.
  15. Train and mentor junior team members on incident management processes and procedures.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Assess And Respond To Complex Incidents

  • Proven Experience In Incident Management, Including Developing And Implementing Incident Response Plans And Leading Cross-Functional Teams

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Coordinate And Communicate With Internal Teams, Customers, And Stakeholders During High-Pressure Situations

  • Knowledge Of Itil Framework And Best Practices For Incident Management, Including Incident Prioritization, Escalation, And Resolution

  • Experience With Incident Management Tools And Technology, Such As Incident Tracking Software And Incident Response Automation, To Streamline And Improve The Incident Management Process.
