- Assist in preparing and reviewing federal tax returns for clients.
- Conduct research on current federal tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to identify tax planning opportunities for clients.
- Participate in client meetings and assist in communicating complex tax concepts to clients.
- Utilize analytical skills to identify potential tax issues and propose solutions.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax extensions and estimated tax payments.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of tax workpapers and client information.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on changes in federal tax laws and regulations.
- Work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and develop new skills.
- Take initiative to identify and propose process improvements within the tax department.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality policies when handling sensitive client information.
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance tax knowledge and skills.
