Job Description

As the Executive Director of Edge Solution Sales at NCR, you will lead a team of talented sales professionals to drive growth and success for our edge solution offerings.   1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for edge solutions, in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to grow the business.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitors’ activities, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and drive success for edge solutions.
  6. Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address any gaps.
  7. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote edge solutions and generate leads.
  8. Create and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of NCR's edge solutions.
  9. Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate forecasting of revenue.
  10. Continuously assess and improve the sales process, identifying and implementing best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute overall business strategies and initiatives.
  12. Mentor and develop team members, providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  13. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  14. Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer focus within the sales team.
  15. Act as a thought leader and advocate for edge technology solutions, both internally and externally.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Edge Computing And Related Technologies: Ncr Is A Leader In The Field Of Edge Computing, And The Executive Director Of Edge Solution Sales Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of This Technology And Its Applications. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Related Technologies Such As Cloud Computing, Iot, And Ai, And How They Can Be Leveraged To Drive Sales.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Executive Director Of Edge Solution Sales Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Key Clients And Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
