1. Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting for NCR, including financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
2. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
3. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Manage and lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
5. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks, and communicate findings to senior management.
6. Serve as a subject matter expert on complex accounting issues and provide guidance to cross-functional teams.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and internal audit, to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting and processes.
8. Lead the annual financial audit and preparation of financial statements and footnotes.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
10. Stay current on accounting regulations and standards, and ensure compliance within the organization.
11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors, to provide updates on financial performance and address any concerns or questions.
12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
13. Represent the company in a professional manner, both internally and externally, and act as a brand ambassador for NCR.
14. Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned by senior management.
