- Develop and implement financial optimization and cost management strategies for NCR's cloud services.
- Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud financial management, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud financial analysts, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with cloud service providers to negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting key cost drivers and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for cloud spending, tracking and reporting on variances.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline cloud financial management processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes and updates to cloud services and their impact on NCR's financials.
- Communicate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support for financial audits.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of financial optimization strategies, making adjustments as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between different departments, promoting a culture of financial responsibility and accountability.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to develop and implement chargeback models for cloud services.
Extensive Experience In Cloud Cost Management And Optimization: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Cloud Costs And Optimizing Cloud Resources In A Large-Scale Enterprise Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Cloud Computing Platforms: The Senior Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Cloud Computing Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud, And Be Able To Effectively Navigate And Manage The Complexities Of Each Platform.
Financial Management Skills: A Strong Background In Finance And Budgeting Is Essential For This Role, As The Senior Manager Will Be Responsible For Creating And Managing Budgets, Forecasting Costs, And Identifying Cost-Saving Opportunities.
Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Senior Manager Should Have Prior Experience In Managing A Team And Leading Cross-Functional Projects. They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Stakeholders And Drive Results.
