  1. Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality and efficiency of NCR's products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for automation testing.
  3. Execute and maintain automated test suites, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  4. Conduct thorough analysis of test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to automation testing.
  6. Continuously monitor and improve the automation testing process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for automated test processes and procedures.
  8. Train and mentor team members on automation testing techniques and tools.
  9. Communicate effectively with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of quality products.
  10. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation readiness.
  11. Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the automation testing process.
  12. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks and outputs.
  13. Proactively identify potential risks and suggest solutions to mitigate them.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on automation testing, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  15. Contribute to the continuous improvement of NCR's testing processes and methodologies.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Automation Testing Tools And Frameworks: A Qualified Automation Test Engineer At Ncr Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Automation Testing Tools Such As Selenium, Appium, And Cucumber. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Different Testing Frameworks Like Testng And Junit.

  • Experience With Scripting And Programming Languages: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Scripting Languages Such As Python, Perl, Or Shell Scripting, As Well As Programming Languages Like Java Or C++. This Is Essential For Creating Robust Automated Test Scripts.

  • Proficiency In Manual Testing: While Automation Testing Is The Primary Responsibility Of An Automation Test Engineer, They Should Also Be Proficient In Manual Testing. This Includes Creating Test Cases, Executing Them, And Reporting Any Bugs Or Issues.

  • Knowledge Of Software Development And Testing Methodologies: A Qualified Automation Test Engineer Should Have A Good Understanding Of Software Development And Testing Methodologies, Including Agile And Waterfall. They Should Also Be Able To Work Closely With Developers And Other Team Members To Identify Testing Requirements And Ensure Timely Delivery Of High-Quality Software.

  • Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: Automation Testing Requires A Problem-Solving Mindset And Strong Analytical Skills. A Qualified Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Software Systems And Identify Areas For Automation, As Well As Troubleshoot And Resolve Any Issues That Arise During The Testing Process.
