Nationwide Mutual Insurance is seeking a Territory Manager for our Middle Market Business Development team. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with businesses in your assigned territory. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in sales and business development, as well as strong communication and relationship-building skills.   1. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with businesses in assigned territory
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory
  3. Create and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth goals
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients
  5. Act as a liaison between clients and Nationwide Mutual Insurance, addressing any concerns or needs
  6. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  8. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company
  9. Maintain a thorough understanding of the insurance industry and competitive landscape
  10. Continuously strive to improve and innovate sales techniques and processes
  11. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and progress
  12. Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
  13. Represent Nationwide Mutual Insurance in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Sales Or Business Development, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Building Strong Client Relationships.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Middle Market Business Landscape And Knowledge Of Insurance Products And Services.

  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Influence Key Decision-Makers.
