  1. Represent clients in court proceedings and provide legal counsel on complex cases.

  3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case arguments.
  4. Prepare and present oral and written arguments in court.
  5. Communicate with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.

  7. Stay up-to-date with legal developments and changes in laws and regulations.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance and support on legal matters.
  9. Mentor and train junior attorneys on legal best practices and procedures.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
  11. Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
  12. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct at all times.
  13. Meet deadlines and manage time effectively to prioritize and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  14. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and represent the company in a professional manner.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve legal processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Experience As A Trial Attorney, Preferably In Insurance Defense Litigation

  • Proven Track Record Of Success In Trials, Arbitrations, And Mediations

  • Strong Understanding Of Insurance Laws And Regulations, Particularly In The Areas Of Property And Casualty Insurance

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advocate On Behalf Of Nationwide And Its Clients In A Courtroom Setting.
