Extensive Knowledge Of Retirement Plans: The Ideal Candidate For A Sr. Retirement Specialist Position At Nationwide Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Retirement Plans, Including 401(K), 403(B), And Pension Plans.
Experience In Retirement Planning: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Retirement Planning, Preferably In A Corporate Or Financial Setting. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Effectively Advise Clients On Retirement Strategies.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Sr. Retirement Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Retirement Concepts And Strategies To Clients. Therefore, Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Certification In Retirement Planning: Nationwide Prefers Candidates Who Have Obtained Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Retirement Counselor (Crc) Or Accredited Retirement Advisor (Ara). These Certifications Demonstrate A Commitment To Ongoing Education And Expertise In The Field.
Proven Sales Experience: The Sr. Retirement Specialist Will Also Be Responsible For Generating New Business And Meeting Sales Targets. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Success In Sales, Preferably In The Retirement Planning Industry.
