We are currently seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Senior Assistant Vice President of Brokerage Excess - E&S/Specialty. In this role, you will play a key role in driving profitable growth and managing our Excess & Surplus (E&S) and Specialty brokerage business.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive profitable growth in the Excess & Surplus (E&S) and Specialty brokerage business.
  2. Manage and oversee the underwriting process for E&S and Specialty lines, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and standards.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to generate new business and retain existing clients.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  5. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  7. Train and mentor junior underwriters and provide guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the company, including senior leadership.
  9. Monitor and manage risk exposure in the E&S and Specialty brokerage business.
  10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and build relationships with potential clients.
  11. Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  12. Prepare and present reports and updates on the performance of the E&S and Specialty brokerage business to senior leadership.
  13. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the E&S and Specialty brokerage business.
  14. Ensure timely and accurate communication with brokers and clients to maintain strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  15. Continuously assess and adjust strategies to meet changing market conditions and company goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Industry, With At Least 5 Years In Excess And Surplus Lines Brokerage.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of E&S/Specialty Insurance Products, Market Trends, And Regulations.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Growing A Book Of Business, With A Focus On Profitability And Underwriting Discipline.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With Experience In Managing A Team And Collaborating With Other Departments.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Business Administration Or Risk Management, And Relevant Professional Certifications (E.g. Cpcu, Cic, Etc.).
