
Specialist, Risk Management - P&C

- Develop and implement risk management strategies for the Property and Casualty division, in line with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential risks and evaluate their impact on the company and its clients.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to gather information and insights on risk exposures.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and market conditions to proactively identify potential risks.
- Create and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Train and educate employees on risk management best practices and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Communicate risk assessment findings and recommendations to management and other relevant parties.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as insurance brokers and auditors, to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Regularly review and update risk management strategies to adapt to changing business and market conditions.
- Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve risk management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and track risk mitigation efforts to ensure their effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Handle any risk-related inquiries or concerns from clients, employees, or other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in risk management techniques and technologies.
Bachelor's Degree In Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Or A Related Field. A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Techniques Is Essential For This Role.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Property And Casualty Insurance Industry. Previous Experience In Risk Management, Underwriting, Claims, Or Related Fields Is Highly Preferred.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Data. The Specialist, Risk Management - P&C Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Risk Exposures And Developing Strategies To Mitigate Them, So A High Level Of Analytical Proficiency Is Required.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Role Involves Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Internal Teams And External Clients, So The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Build Relationships Is Crucial.
Professional Certifications Such As Arm, Cpcu, Or Crm Are Highly Valued. These Certifications Demonstrate A Deep Understanding Of Risk Management And Insurance Principles, And May Be Required For More Senior-Level Positions Within The Company.
