  1. Develop and implement strategies for identifying and mitigating cyber security risks within the organization.
  2. Lead and manage a team of experts in data and platform security.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization's security measures are up-to-date.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a cohesive approach to cyber security.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the security of data and platforms.
  7. Monitor and analyze security incidents and provide timely response and resolution.
  8. Train and educate employees on cyber security best practices.
  9. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  10. Act as a liaison with external security vendors and agencies.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert on data and platform security for the organization.
  12. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of cyber security risks and mitigation efforts.
  13. Lead incident response and disaster recovery efforts in case of a security breach.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's security posture.
  15. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Cyber Security Principles And Best Practices: A Manager, Cyber Security Risk Leader - Data & Platform Security Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Cyber Security Principles, Including Risk Assessment, Threat Management, And Security Architecture.

  • Experience In Managing Data And Platform Security: This Role Requires Hands-On Experience In Managing Data And Platform Security, Including Data Encryption, Access Controls, And Vulnerability Management.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Manager, Cyber Security Risk Leader, One Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Manage A Team And Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Ability To Develop And Implement Risk Management Strategies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Risk Management Strategies To Protect Data And Platforms From Cyber Threats.

  • Relevant Certifications: Nationwide Mutual Insurance May Require Candidates To Hold Relevant Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Crisc To Demonstrate Their Knowledge And Expertise In The Field Of Cyber Security Risk Management.
