We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Field Claims Specialist II, Property. As a Field Claims Specialist II, you will play a crucial role in investigating and resolving property claims for our valued policyholders. We are looking for someone with a strong background in property claims handling, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.   1. Conduct thorough investigations of property claims to determine coverage and liability.
  2. Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, and other parties involved in the claims process.
  3. Utilize problem-solving skills to analyze and evaluate information to make accurate claim decisions.
  4. Negotiate and settle property claims within designated authority level.
  5. Ensure claims are handled in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining regular communication with policyholders and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities and decisions.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and external vendors to gather necessary information and documentation for claims.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to property claims handling.
  10. Promote a positive and professional image of the company through interactions with policyholders and other stakeholders.
  11. Train and mentor new claims specialists as needed.
  12. Continuously strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness in claims handling processes.
  13. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the handling of claims.
  14. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Property Claims Handling, Preferably In A Field Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Insurance, Business, Finance, Or Risk Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Property Insurance Policies, Coverages, And Industry Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Interact With Policyholders, Agents, And Other Parties Involved In The Claims Process.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Analyze And Evaluate Complex Property Claims And Make Sound Decisions Based On Policy Language, Company Guidelines, And State Laws.
