  1. Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures for underwriting across all lines of business.
  2. Lead and manage a team of underwriting professionals, providing direction, training, and support as needed.
  3. Conduct regular audits and reviews of underwriting processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and maintain compliance with company standards.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and risk management, to ensure consistency and accuracy in underwriting decisions.
  5. Develop and maintain comprehensive training programs for underwriting staff to ensure understanding and adherence to quality standards.
  6. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and patterns in underwriting performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and adapt processes accordingly.
  8. Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders to provide updates on quality assurance initiatives and results.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the underwriting department.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for underwriting staff, providing guidance and support on complex cases and issues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Or Quality Assurance In The Insurance Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Underwriting Guidelines, Risk Assessment, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Trends And Implement Process Improvements.

  • Proven Leadership Experience, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Departments.
