  1. Develop and implement underwriting strategies for the alternative ventures program to ensure profitable growth and maintain competitive edge in the market.
  2. Utilize expertise in underwriting and alternative ventures to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  3. Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor activity to inform underwriting decisions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive program success.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and make sound underwriting decisions in accordance with company guidelines and standards.
  6. Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  7. Provide guidance and support to underwriting team members on complex cases and escalations.
  8. Participate in the development and delivery of training programs for underwriting staff.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and brokers, to drive business growth.
  10. Stay informed of emerging trends and innovations in the insurance industry, particularly in the alternative ventures space.
  11. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management on program performance and opportunities for improvement.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve underwriting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the alternative ventures program.
