  1. Develop and implement financial data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments of financial data to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data governance standards and processes.
  4. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify potential risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
  5. Communicate and educate stakeholders on data governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to financial data governance.
  7. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure appropriate data security measures are in place.
  8. Design and maintain data quality metrics and reports to track the effectiveness of data governance efforts.
  9. Provide guidance and training to team members on data governance principles and practices.
  10. Participate in data governance projects and initiatives to continuously improve data management processes.
  11. Identify and escalate any data governance issues or concerns to management.

  14. Act as a subject matter expert in financial data governance and provide support to other departments as needed.
