Claims Adjuster

The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in the insurance industry, with a specific focus on claims adjusting, and be familiar with the legal and regulatory environment. We also require a valid state insurance adjuster’s license and a demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to work with a wide variety of customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Investigate and evaluate claims to determine the extent of liability and the amount of damages, if any.
2. Interview claimants and witnesses to obtain all relevant information.
3. Analyze claim documents, including contracts and policy provisions, to determine coverage.
4. Review medical and police reports to assess the validity of claims.
5. Negotiate with claimants to resolve disputes.
6. Monitor claims to ensure they are settled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
7. Communicate regularly with customers to keep them updated on claim status.
8. Maintain up-to-date records of claim activity.
9. Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
10. Stay current with changes in the insurance industry.
