As an Actuarial Specialist, you will play a critical role in analyzing and managing risk for our surety products, ensuring the financial stability and success of our company.   1. Conduct actuarial analysis and research to support the development and pricing of surety products.
  2. Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to evaluate and manage risk exposure for new and existing surety products.
  3. Utilize mathematical and statistical models to forecast future trends and evaluate potential risks.
  4. Analyze data and prepare reports to present findings and recommendations to management.
  5. Monitor and track the performance of surety products and make adjustments as necessary to ensure profitability.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and inform business decisions.
  7. Develop and maintain actuarial models and tools to aid in risk assessment and pricing.
  8. Work closely with other departments, such as finance and marketing, to support business goals and initiatives.
  9. Collaborate with external partners, such as reinsurers and consultants, to enhance actuarial capabilities and knowledge.
  10. Participate in company-wide projects and initiatives related to risk management and financial stability.
  11. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline actuarial processes and increase efficiency.
  12. Train and mentor junior team members on actuarial principles and practices.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions and represent the company in a positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Data.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working In The Insurance Industry, Preferably In The Surety Or Bonding Department.

  • Experience With Actuarial Software And Programming Languages, Such As Sas Or R.

  • Knowledge Of Insurance Regulations And Principles, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Actuarial Concepts And Techniques.
