Actuarial Analyst

In addition, 2+ years of relevant experience in the actuarial field is preferred. We are also seeking a candidate who is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has passed at least two actuarial exams. Finally, experience utilizing actuarial software and databases is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize actuarial software and databases to complete projects and analyses.
2. Analyze data utilizing actuarial principles and statistical analysis.
3. Develop actuarial skills through a variety of projects.
4. Research and interpret actuarial data as needed for projects.
5. Identify trends and correlations in actuarial data.
6. Develop problem-solving strategies to confront complex actuarial issues.
7. Communicate findings and recommendations to team members.
8. Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and present ideas.
9. Maintain updated knowledge of actuarial trends and practices.
10. Maintain fellowship of Society of Actuaries and pass necessary actuarial exams.
