
Senior Advisor Risk & Regulatory
The National Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Advisor Risk & Regulatory to contribute to the bank's overall risk management framework. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance and mitigating risk across all lines of business.This position requires an individual with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects, develop efficient risk management strategies, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of regulatory and risk management principles, operations, and best practices. They should possess the ability to form relationships and engage with senior level management, as well as demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethics in upholding the bank's standards.We are looking for an individual who is collaborative, proactive and has a customer-centric focus. Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on risk management strategies and regulatory compliance across all lines of business.
- Lead projects related to risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Develop efficient risk management practices and procedures.
- Form relationships with senior level management and external stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks before they arise.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Uphold the bank's standards of integrity and ethics.
