- Lead and supervise a team responsible for verifying and auditing payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Mentor and train team members on payment processes, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve payment integrity processes and efficiency.
- Monitor and track team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure high-quality work.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and compliance, to ensure alignment and compliance with company goals and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to healthcare payment processes.
- Communicate and coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Handle and resolve any escalated issues or concerns related to payment integrity.
- Act as a liaison between the team and upper management, providing regular updates on team performance and any issues or challenges faced.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Payment Integrity Or Claims Auditing.
Strong Knowledge Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations And Reimbursement Guidelines.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Prior Experience In Supervisory Or Management Role Preferred.
