  1. Conduct analysis and research on healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in medical economics.
  2. Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate the impact of healthcare policies and programs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and provide insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  4. Prepare and present reports and presentations to stakeholders, including executives and leadership teams.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure accurate and relevant analyses.
  6. Use statistical techniques and tools to analyze and interpret data, such as regression analysis and predictive modeling.
  7. Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements in healthcare operations.
  8. Communicate complex findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  9. Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather and validate data and ensure data quality and integrity.
  10. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and methodologies for data analysis and reporting.
  12. Collaborate with other departments and teams to support the implementation and evaluation of healthcare programs and initiatives.
  13. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, including protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA guidelines.
  14. Participate in meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities to stay current on advancements in medical economics and data analysis.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Healthcare Data Analysis: A Senior Analyst, Medical Economics At Molina Healthcare Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Data Analysis, Preferably In A Managed Care Organization. This Includes Knowledge Of Claims Data, Medical Coding, And Healthcare Reimbursement Methodologies.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Ability To Analyze Complex Healthcare Data And Identify Trends, Patterns, And Outliers. They Should Also Be Able To Translate Data Into Actionable Insights And Recommendations For The Organization.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Trends And Regulations: A Senior Analyst, Medical Economics Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Changes In Reimbursement Models, Healthcare Policies, And Regulations. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Developing Effective Cost-Saving Strategies And Identifying Potential Risks For The Organization.

  • Proficiency In Data Visualization And Reporting Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Data Visualization And Reporting Tools Such As Tableau, Power Bi, And Sql To Create Interactive Dashboards And Reports. This Will Help In Presenting Complex Data In A Visually Appealing And Easy-To-Understand Manner.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Senior Analyst, Medical Economics Will Be Expected To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
