Job Description

Molina Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Care Review Clinician Inpatient Review to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, the RN Care Review Clinician Inpatient Review will review and monitor the quality of inpatient care to ensure the health and safety of our members. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team, and a passion for providing high-quality care.The successful candidate must possess a valid RN license, a minimum of two years of experience in inpatient care review, and experience in a managed care setting. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred but not required. The RN Care Review Clinician Inpatient Review must be knowledgeable of government and third-party payer regulations, accreditation standards, and utilization management principles.You will be an integral part of a team that is focused on providing excellent care to our members, and you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are making a positive difference in their well-being. Responsibilities:

  1. Review and monitor the quality of inpatient care to ensure the health and safety of Molina Healthcare members.
  2. Possess a valid RN license as well as a minimum of two years of experience in inpatient care review and experience in a managed care setting.
  3. Be knowledgeable of government and third-party payer regulations, accreditation standards, and utilization management principles.
  4. Provide excellent care to all Molina Healthcare members.
  5. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with members, healthcare providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team.
  7. Utilize appropriate resources to research, analyze, and resolve issues related to inpatient care.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  9. Review and document all medical information for accuracy and completeness.
  10. Participate in educational activities and meetings as requested.
