Job Description

Molina Healthcare is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in managing medication orders and ensuring our customers receive the best quality of care.If you have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a passion for providing quality pharmaceutical care, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of medication and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the following qualifications:• High School diploma or equivalent• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience• Active Pharmacy Technician Registration/License in the state of practice• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities: • Assist pharmacists in managing medication orders and ensuring customers receive the best quality of care • Ensure accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all pharmacy transactions • Receive medications and verify contents against prescription orders • Prepare medications and enter information into pharmacy systems • Assist customers with their questions and concerns regarding medications • Monitor and verify expiration dates of medications • Perform medication reconciliation for customers • Process insurance claims and handle rejections • Stock shelves with medications and supplies • Ensure a clean and organized work environment
