  1. Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines for physical medicine services in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Oversee and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective care to our members.
  3. Collaborate with other medical directors and department leaders to develop and implement strategies for improving health outcomes and member satisfaction.
  4. Provide clinical expertise and guidance to the organization on issues related to physical medicine, including treatment options, utilization management, and quality improvement.
  5. Monitor and analyze data on program outcomes, utilization, and costs to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  6. Participate in provider network development and management, including conducting provider trainings and establishing relationships with key providers.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to physical medicine services.
  8. Stay current with industry developments and trends in physical medicine to inform and guide decision-making.
  9. Represent the organization in external meetings and events related to physical medicine, such as conferences and professional associations.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as care management and pharmacy, to support integrated and coordinated care for our members.
  11. Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in physical medicine services through the implementation of new technologies, processes, and treatments.
  13. Communicate and collaborate effectively with members, families, and caregivers to ensure their needs and preferences are considered in the delivery of physical medicine services.
  14. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of care and treatment to members.
  15. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree And Board Certification In Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Physician In The Field Of Physical Medicine.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • Excellent Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, Especially Related To Physical Medicine Services.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Stakeholders.
