  1. Develop and lead the overall strategy for the Behavioral Health department at Molina Healthcare.
  2. Provide direction and oversight for all behavioral health services, ensuring high-quality care for members.
  3. Drive innovation and growth within the department, continuously seeking new and effective ways to improve mental health and well-being.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in behavioral health.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to integrate behavioral health services into overall healthcare programs.
  6. Lead and manage a team of clinicians and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  7. Develop and monitor department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective delivery of services.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in behavioral health, and make recommendations for adoption of new approaches and technologies.
  9. Represent Molina Healthcare in community and industry events, promoting our commitment to improving mental health and well-being.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the Behavioral Health department and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  11. Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards in the delivery of behavioral health services.
  12. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of behavioral health programs, making adjustments as needed to meet the needs of our members.
  13. Foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and inclusivity within the Behavioral Health department and across the organization.
  14. Provide support and resources to members, families, and caregivers to promote understanding and engagement in behavioral health treatment.
  15. Collaborate with external partners, including community organizations and healthcare providers, to enhance and expand behavioral health services and resources.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Do) And Board Certification In Psychiatry Or Behavioral Health.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In The Field Of Psychiatry Or Behavioral Health.

  • Previous Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Managed Care Organization.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Behavioral Health Services.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team And External Stakeholders.
