  1. Develop and implement strategies for acquiring and managing clinical data in alignment with Molina Healthcare's mission and goals.
  2. Oversee the collection and organization of clinical data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and establish processes for data collection, validation, and analysis.
  4. Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
  5. Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management and analysis, and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of data analysts and coordinators, ensuring their professional development and growth.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external data partners and vendors.
  9. Regularly communicate data findings and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership, providing actionable recommendations.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and HEDIS.
  11. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in data acquisition and management.
  12. Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for data acquisition and management processes.
  13. Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain data systems and tools.
  14. Manage department budget and allocate resources effectively.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical data acquisition and management, providing guidance and support to colleagues across the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Clinical Data Acquisition And Management: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Clinical Data Acquisition Processes, Including Data Collection, Cleaning, And Analysis. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Clinical Data.

  • Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems: A Successful Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Electronic Health Record Systems, As Well As Other Clinical Data Systems And Databases. This Includes Proficiency In Data Extraction, Manipulation, And Reporting.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Manager Of Clinical Data Acquisition, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Data Quality Issues. They Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Data Issues.

  • Leadership And Project Management Experience: Molina Healthcare Is Looking For A Candidate Who Has Previous Experience Managing A Team And Leading Projects. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills, The Ability To Delegate Tasks, And Experience Overseeing Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry And Trends: To Be Successful In This Role, A Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Current Trends Related To Clinical Data Acquisition. This Includes Knowledge Of Emerging Technologies, Data Privacy Laws, And Regulatory Changes That May Impact Clinical Data Management.
