Job Description

As a Liaison for the Justice System, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our members involved in the justice system receive the care and support they need.   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for Molina Healthcare in all matters related to members involved in the justice system.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with justice system agencies, including correctional facilities, court systems, and probation/parole offices.
  3. Conduct regular outreach and communication with justice-involved members to ensure they understand their healthcare benefits and have access to necessary services.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments, such as case management and behavioral health, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for justice-involved members.
  5. Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for justice-involved members, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  6. Advocate for members' healthcare needs within the justice system and work to address any barriers to care.
  7. Educate justice system staff on Molina Healthcare policies and procedures, as well as the importance of addressing members' healthcare needs.
  8. Monitor and track the healthcare utilization and outcomes of justice-involved members to identify areas for improvement or additional support.
  9. Attend meetings and trainings related to the justice system to stay up-to-date on policies and procedures.
  10. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions and interventions with justice-involved members.
  11. Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide additional support and services for justice-involved members.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to justice-involved members and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Stay informed about changes in the justice system and how they may impact healthcare services for members.
  14. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to healthcare and the justice system.
  15. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Political Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working Within The Justice System, Preferably In A Liaison Or Advocacy Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To The Criminal Justice System.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Such As Law Enforcement, Courts, And Community Organizations.

  • Ability To Analyze Complex Information And Make Sound Decisions, While Maintaining A High Level Of Confidentiality And Professionalism.
