- Serve as a subject matter expert on health equity principles and best practices, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Lead and manage a team of health equity professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure the success of our initiatives.
- Advocate for health equity within the organization and externally, building partnerships and collaborations with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas of health inequity and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
- Stay current on trends and developments in the field of health equity, and use this knowledge to inform and improve our programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health equity into all aspects of our operations, including policy development, program design, and service delivery.
- Develop and monitor metrics to measure the success of our health equity efforts, and use this data to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and other events related to health equity, serving as a thought leader and promoting our mission and values.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to health equity and social justice.
Advanced Degree In Public Health Or Related Field: A Director, Health Equity At Molina Healthcare Should Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Public Health Or A Related Field. This Educational Background Provides A Strong Foundation In Health Equity Principles, Policies, And Strategies.
Extensive Experience In Health Equity: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience Working In The Field Of Health Equity. This Should Include Experience In Developing And Implementing Health Equity Initiatives, Analyzing Health Disparities Data, And Collaborating With Community Organizations.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Director, Health Equity, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Working With Various Stakeholders. Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential For Effectively Managing And Motivating A Team, As Well As Cultivating Relationships With External Partners.
