  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the actuarial team, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of actuarial services.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of actuaries, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  3. Develop and implement actuarial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.
  4. Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations related to healthcare costs, utilization, and trends.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to support the development and implementation of new products and initiatives.
  6. Manage actuarial projects and ensure timely and accurate completion.
  7. Monitor and report on the financial performance of the company's healthcare plans.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  10. Identify and address any potential risks or issues related to actuarial services.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  12. Participate in the recruitment and hiring of new team members.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes innovation, growth, and excellence.
  14. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, systems, and procedures related to actuarial services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Actuarial Roles, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Fellow Of The Society Of Actuaries (Fsa) Or Equivalent Actuarial Designation.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Make Strategic Recommendations.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Actuarial Professionals.
