- Conduct thorough and accurate reviews of provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications.
- Ensure all providers meet regulatory and organizational requirements for participation in the network.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate provider information in the credentialing database.
- Communicate with providers and other internal departments to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Continuously monitor and track expiring credentials and take necessary actions to ensure timely renewals.
- Conduct audits and participate in credentialing committee meetings to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry changes and best practices related to credentialing processes.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the credentialing process.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Credentialing, Preferably In A Managed Care Or Health Insurance Setting.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Credentialing And Provider Enrollment.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Maintain Accurate And Organized Records.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
