  1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the engine room and surrounding areas on board the vessel.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment as directed by the Chief Engineer.
  3. Monitor equipment and systems for proper functioning and report any issues to the Chief Engineer.
  4. Assist with loading and unloading of cargo and securing it for transport.
  5. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure the safety of the vessel and crew.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  7. Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment, including pumps, generators, and other auxiliary equipment.
  8. Communicate effectively with other crew members and superiors to ensure smooth operation of the vessel.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities to improve skills and knowledge in the shipping industry.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and regulations, as well as international maritime laws and regulations.
  11. Participate in emergency drills and be prepared to respond to emergency situations.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to clients and other stakeholders.
  13. Attend trainings and meetings as required by the company.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer or other superiors.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Maritime Industry And Equipment: A Wiper-Container (Sf) At Møller-Maersk Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Maritime Industry And Be Familiar With The Equipment Used On Container Ships.

  • Mechanical And Technical Skills: This Role Requires A Strong Aptitude For Mechanical And Technical Work, As Wipers-Container (Sf) Are Responsible For Assisting With Maintenance And Repairs Of Equipment On The Ship.

  • Physical Fitness And Agility: Working On A Container Ship Can Be Physically Demanding, So Candidates For This Role Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform Tasks Requiring Agility And Strength.

  • Safety-Consciousness: The Safety Of Crew Members And The Ship Is A Top Priority At Møller-Maersk. Wipers-Container (Sf) Must Adhere To All Safety Protocols And Regulations, As Well As Be Aware Of Potential Hazards And Respond Accordingly.
